The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for processing purchasing transactions and maintaining inventories of materials, equipment, supplies, and products.
What will you do?
As a Supply Chain Specialist you will:
- Execute purchase orders and manage the end-to-end buying process (RFQs, bids, supplier selection, order placement)
- Monitor open orders and expedite materials to meet project schedules
- Serve as the main contact for suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and order status
- Resolve delivery delays, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs
- Support cost control, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives
What are the requirements?
- 1-2 years experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain operations
- Knowledge of purchase order management and supplier negotiations
- ERP system experience (Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Preferred: Experience with capital projects, engineered materials, and supplier performance metrics
