What is the position?
The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for assisting teams with compiling and interpreting financial information for decision-making, while serving as a resource for customers. You will lead efforts to increase efficiency, while maintaining financial accounting controls and adherence to standards and requirements.

You will lead efforts to increase efficiency, while maintaining financial accounting controls and adherence to standards and requirements.
What will you do?
As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will:
- Assist in regulated financial reporting processes.
- Provide mentorship & expertise to team members.
- Compile financial statements and creates journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain schedules, reports, and analyses for stakeholders.
- Conduct business transaction analysis.
- Perform account reconciliations & propose adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies impacting accounting data accuracy and recommend resolutions.
- Respond to audit requests, providing requested information.
- Coordinate with management, company partners, and other stakeholders
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- CPA preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Financial reporting experience required
- MS Office and PC skills
- Oracle ERP, Workiva, PowerBI, & Power Query skills preferred
- Technical accounting skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
