Job Description

What is the position?
The Sr. Application Analyst & Developer will be responsible for analyzing software, implementing solutions, and driving continuous improvement to business applications. 

What will you do?
As a Sr. Application Analyst & Developer, you will:
  • Utilize a range of technologies and tools, including JavaScript, Microsoft .Net 4.0+, jQuery, C#, HTML5/CSS, ASP.NET MVC 4+, MS SQL Server 2012+, EF, IIS, UI/UX, LINQ, etc.
  • Examine challenges related to software applications, implementing solutions as needed.
  • Develop project timelines, estimates, and scheduling.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of business applications, through ongoing development, coding, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Provide program specifications. 
  • Collaborate with users and IT teams on resolutions.
  • Potentially support hiring decisions and mentor/oversee teams .
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as needed.

What are the requirements?
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in development (Microsoft stack preferred)
  • Database modeling experience
  • Experience with .Net Core and PowerShell preferred
  • Experience with RESTful services, specifically with Swagger services preferred
  • Familiarity with change management practices and source code versioning using Git, VSTS, or TFS preferred
  • Familiarity with object-oriented design & analysis and service-oriented architecture development
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and configuration/project management procedures preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
