What is the position?
As a Sr. Accounting Analyst, you will provide leadership in preparing and reviewing financial information to guide management decisions and external reporting. You’ll tackle complex assignments, provide mentorship, and optimize business processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective outcomes.


What are the responsibilities?
As a Sr. Accounting Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and analyses for internal and external reporting.
  • Manage month-end activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Process and analyze extensive data, including deferred revenue schedules and transaction issues.
  • Support internal and external audits with thorough documentation and explanations.
  • Lead projects with moderate complexity and resource needs.


What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4-6 years accounting experience in oil & gas industry
  • Revenue Accounting experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Skills in financial analysis, problem-solving, and reporting (GAAP knowledge preferred)
  • Preferred: CPA certification and experience with data analytics, automation, and tools like Essbase, Smartview, and Dodeca
