What are the responsibilities?
As a Senior Project Scheduler, you will:
- Create and manage comprehensive project schedules for large construction initiatives using Primavera P6
- Maintain scheduling logic, identify critical path activities, and track major milestones and resource allocations
- Monitor schedule performance through updates, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Evaluate impacts related to scope adjustments, design changes, and construction sequencing
- Prepare reporting dashboards and schedule summaries for project teams and leadership
- Facilitate schedule review sessions and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts or risks
- Support change management processes, including schedule impact and claims analysis
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scheduling professionals and team members
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of experience developing and managing schedules for large construction projects
- Advanced expertise with Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of construction workflows, project controls, and sequencing strategies
- Experience working within highly collaborative, fast-paced project teams
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead discussions without formal authority
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail
- Experience with Power BI
- Preferred: experience with EPC or mega-projects, exposure to cost controls or earned value management, and certifications such as PMP, PSP, or PMI-SP
