What are the responsibilities?
As a Service Manager, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day and long-term planning of service operations and project execution
- Lead staff management including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and recruiting
- Monitor and analyze financial performance reports to ensure profitability goals are met
- Direct project scheduling, billing, invoicing, and material procurement processes
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvements in policies, systems, and training
What are the requirements?
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, service agreements, and project management
- Proven leadership experience with ability to motivate and manage teams
- Excellent planning, time management, and financial analysis skills
- Working knowledge of industry standards, codes, and service operations best practices
- Ability to manage documentation, cash flow, scheduling, and labor forecasting
- Previous experience in technical operations, dispatch coordination, or maintenance services preferred
