What is this position?
The Senior Piping Designer will be responsible for overseeing precise and timely drawing design, while ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and accuracy.

 

What will you do?
As a Senior Piping Designer, you will:

  • Design and modify 2D and 3D piping layouts using AutoCAD and CADWorx.
  • Develop and review piping and mechanical drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure designs meet project specifications and industry codes like ASME and API.
  • Conduct quality checks, resolve discrepancies, and verify as-built conditions through site visits.

 

What are the requirements?

  • 12+ years experience in piping design and checking (Oil & Gas Industry preferred)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (10+ years) and CADWorx Plant & P&ID (5+ years)
  • Knowledge of P&IDs & tagging P&IDs
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes (e.g. ASME, API) , piping isometrics, and process flow diagrams
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
