What is this position?
The Senior Estimator will be responsible for utilizing provided contract drawings to generate estimates for a steel / rebar fabrication company. This position demands the ability to accurately estimate projects, thorough knowledge of various construction specifications, working within a dynamic environment, and attention to detail. 

What will you do?
As a Senior Estimator, you will:
  • Examine specifications and contract drawings to identify project requirements.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs for wiremesh, reinforcing steel, and accessories.
  • Manage an up-to-date record of all estimations
  • Compile and generate comprehensive quotations ensuring accuracy for customer delivery. .
  • Uphold strict adherence to company's standards and safety protocols, aligning practices with the mission and values.
  • Communicate with customers as necessary to address specific requirements.
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as required. 

What are the requirements?
  • High School Diploma is needed; some college is preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in rebar estimation or related role within construction industry.
  • Candidates are expected to showcase estimating expertise through a portfolio of sample projects before being considered for this role.
  • Extensive knowledge of aSa Rebar Software System/ equivalent system utilization. 
  • Demonstrate the capability to estimate large-scale projects exceeding 500 Tons accurately. 
  • Microsoft Office skills.
