Job Description
What is this position?
The Reinforcing Steel Detailer will be responsible for detailing large-scale projects for a steel / rebar fabrication company. This position demands accuracy in projects, thorough knowledge of various construction specifications, working within a dynamic environment, and attention to detail.
What will you do?
As a Reinforcing Steel Detailer, you will:
- Follow CRSI/ACI industry standards for wiremesh, reinforcing steel, and accessories.
- Develop detailed reinforcing steel shop drawings as necessary.
- Carry out tasks related to project management such as change order preparation and project coordination.

Uphold strict adherence to company's standards and safety protocols, aligning practices with the mission and values.

Fulfill other responsibilities as required.
What are the requirements?

High School Diploma is needed; some college is preferred.

10+ years experience in detailing reinforcing steel.

Candidates are expected to showcase detailing expertise through a portfolio of jobs before being considered for this role.

Extensive knowledge of aSa Rebar Software System/ equivalent system utilization.

Demonstrate the capability to estimate large-scale projects exceeding 500 Tons accurately.
