What are the responsibilities?
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will:
- Assist in procurement processes by managing requisitions and coordinating orders.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve disputes and facilitate claims handling.
- Support inspections, logistics coordination, and expediting.
- Analyze market trends and contribute to competitive bid processes.
- Help prepare bid packages and evaluate supplier proposals.
What are the requirements?
- High School diploma or GED required (degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related preferred)
- Previous buying or procurement experience is a plus
- Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle skills
- Reporting experience
- Data analysis skills preferred
- Excellent multitasking and communication abilities
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
