The Project Controls Specialist will evaluate, research, and analyze both potential and existing projects, focusing on resource allocation, external competition, and schedule conflicts. This role is key in ensuring successful project execution through careful monitoring of resources, personnel, and external contractors.
What are the responsibilities?
As a Project Controls Specialist, you will:
- Analyze large-scale projects to identify potential scheduling, resource, and contractor conflicts.
- Recommend solutions to address problematic aspects affecting project completion.
- Collaborate with project selection teams to provide essential data for project approval.
- Develop and maintain a repository of competing project data for future planning.
- Issue bi-monthly progress reports highlighting concerns and available resources.
What are the requirements?
- 2+ years of experience in project analysis, controls, and data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or Business, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Oracle.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of natural gas equipment.
