What is the position:

The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for researching and evaluating aspects of projects including resource allocation, schedule conflicts, and resource availability.

What will you do:

  • Assist with the planning, scheduling, and project reporting of various construction projects
  • Manage project scope and project deliverables
  • Manage the project schedule and resource allocation
  • Provide project status reports
  • Work and cost breakdown structure analysis
  • Perform earned value analysis, cost management, forecasting, and project status reporting
  • Engage in process improvement activities
  • Audit existing expenditure and ensure billed costs are accurate
  • Oversee measurement reports content and manage backup data

What are the requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction, Business, or related
  • 3+ years of experience with construction projects
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Experience with project budgeting, financial analysis, and detailed documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Oracle, PowerPlan, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with scheduling using Primavera P6
  • Occasional travel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
