Project Controls Analyst

What is the position:
The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for researching and evaluating aspects of projects including resource allocation, schedule conflicts, and resource availability.
What will you do:
- Assist with the planning, scheduling, and project reporting of various construction projects
- Manage project scope and project deliverables
- Manage the project schedule and resource allocation
- Provide project status reports
- Work and cost breakdown structure analysis
- Perform earned value analysis, cost management, forecasting, and project status reporting
- Engage in process improvement activities
- Audit existing expenditure and ensure billed costs are accurate
- Oversee measurement reports content and manage backup data
What are the requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction, Business, or related
- 3+ years of experience with construction projects
- Oil and gas industry experience preferred
- Experience with project budgeting, financial analysis, and detailed documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with Oracle, PowerPlan, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with scheduling using Primavera P6
- Occasional travel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
