Network Engineer

Job Description
What is the position?
The Network Engineer will support and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure.
What do you need to be able to do?
- Participate in networking projects
- Plan, test, implement, and support the enterprise infrastructure
- Respond to issues and user requests with the utilizations of software
- Prepare and present system status reports
- Install, evaluate, and test system upgrades
- Troubleshoot issues and monitor overall performance after system upgrades
- Establish application system backup and disaster recovery procedures
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- 5+ years experience supporting infrastructure applications
- Networking experience in some of the following:
- Cisco DNA
- Cisco Prime
- Cisco APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller)
- Cisco 9300s
- Cisco 8500s
- Express routing
- Azure networking
- Network topology design
- Network scaling
- Excellent troubleshooting information system and infrastructure application skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
