What are the responsibilities?
As an NGL Accounting Analyst, you will:
- Execute core accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze NGL marketing transactions and calculate cost of goods sold using Right Angle
- Investigate financial variances and lead inventory movement reconciliations
- Interpret contracts and ensure proper system entries and reporting
- Collaborate across departments to implement new deals and resolve transaction discrepancies
- Lead projects focused on process improvements and data-driven automation
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with a strong accounting foundation
- 6+ of accounting experience, ideally within the energy industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and complex accounting systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in senior-level reporting
- Preferred: CPA certification, public accounting background, data automation experience, ERP systems, familiarity with US GAAP
