What is the position?

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing work independently or under general supervision to provide more complex troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance to facilities operations, buildings and grounds.  Position requires the application of considerable knowledge of departmental equipment, facilities and operations, and the use of a wide variety of equipment, including the operation of heavy equipment.

What will you do?

As the Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Understands the concepts behind the maintenance and repair of wide ranging mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and processes.
• Reads and interprets operations and maintenance related data (engineering drawings/ diagrams, manuals, blueprints, maps, etc.)
• Demonstrates a high-degree of safety, confidence in operating, and ability to maintain heavy equipment.
• What are the requirements?

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Strong Work Ethic
• Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver License
• Experience operating machinery such as weed eater, chainsaw, etc.
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate leadership ability
