The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for processing purchasing transactions and maintaining inventories of materials, equipment, supplies, and products.
What will you do?
As a Logistics Specialist you will:
- Coordinate shipments of materials and equipment with suppliers and carriers
- Issue release-to-ship notices and verify supplier readiness
- Track deliveries, manage shipping delays, and update project teams
- Maintain shipping records and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Support staging, laydown yard activities, and logistics reporting
What are the requirements?
- 2+ years of supply chain or logistics experience
- Familiarity with freight scheduling, trucking, and transportation workflows
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Aconex and Oracle preferred
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of TMS systems and documentation handling
- Experience in industrial or energy logistics and DOT/HAZMAT regulations preferred
