What is the position?
The Lead Tax Analyst will be responsible for tax compliance and tax accounting, including tax research, filing preparation, and planning.

What will you do?
As a Lead Tax Analyst, you will:

  • Oversee the preparation of tax filings for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring timely filing.
  • Prepare forms and attachments.
  • Identify and address tax-related issues or opportunities, providing recommendations to Tax Management.
  • Support tax management.
  • Perform and document necessary calculations.
  • Conduct necessary calculations, including deferred roll forwards, reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provisions.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions (GAAP & STAT).
  • Stay informed on changes in tax laws at all levels, providing relevant information to impacted parties.
  • Prepare and manage necessary financial statement disclosures.
  • Manage tax audits.
  • Conduct tax research.
  • Handle tax forecasting.


What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field such as Accounting, Taxation, or Finance
  • 7+ years experience in tax accounting/planning/compliance
  • Experience leading accounting projects
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local taxes strongly preferred
  • GAAP and SAP knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
