What is the position?

The Knowledge Management Specialist will be responsible for carrying out various knowledge and data management projects. You will analyze challenges in operations and data management and identify solutions for process improvement.


What will you do?

As a Knowledge Management Specialist you will:

  • Identify discrepancies in knowledge flow and opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with customers to pinpoint challenges & connect knowledge management processes that can be used to resolve them.
  • Use benchmarks to assess efficiency of the knowledge management program.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to develop strategies that meet organizational needs, sharing the company's knowledge management endeavors.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Supervise the functionality and utilization of IT tools and systems pertinent to knowledge management.
  • Advocate for knowledge management methodologies, implement initiatives to enhance knowledge and data governance.


What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT or knowledge management
  • Oil & Gas experience preferred
  • SharePoint experience
  • MS Office, MS Power Applications/Integrations, and PC skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management principles
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
