Job Description

What is the position?
The Associate Advisor will be responsible for supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial plans that help clients achieve their life goals. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent college graduate or upcoming graduate eager to grow within a collaborative, client-focused firm and work closely with lead advisors to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and long-term financial decision-making. The role will also provide administrative support, primarily related to client account paperwork and documentation.

What are the responsibilities?
As an Associate Advisor, you will:
  • Assist with client account paperwork, documentation, and other administrative tasks
  • Assist in developing and maintaining personalized financial plans that incorporate budgeting, insurance, estate planning, and goal setting
  • Maintain and update client records and planning tools to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Proactively communicate with clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings to ensure a thorough, client-first planning experience
  • Learn and gain exposure to areas of financial planning, including insurance, estate planning, retirement, and long-term financial decision-making
  • Provide general administrative support to the advisory team as needed

What are the requirements?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field, or expected graduation in the near future
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships or related coursework are a plus
  • Interest in pursuing Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification
  • Understanding of estate planning, insurance planning, and retirement strategies is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Willingness to assist with administrative responsibilities as needed
