What is the position:

The Instructional Designer will serve as a training subject matter expert and be responsible for leading and supporting training across the organization.

What will you do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for the enterprise
  • Work alongside training managers to assess needs and help create custom learning solutions
  • Manage current learning solutions
  • Consult with other subject matter experts and leaders within the organization to come up with learning solutions
  • Mentor other members of the team
  • Provide performance feedback, including forecasting completion dates, identifying and mitigating performance risks, and informing management of accomplishments and plans
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum, instructional design, delivery, and outcomes

What are the requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years experience of instructional design
  • Experience developing training content in a corporate setting preferred
  • Experience with Articulate 360 (Story Line 360)
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate preferred
  • Experience mentoring and training others
  • Experience in collaborating with subject matter experts to develop learning objectives specifically e-learning solutions
  • Knowledge of education theory including adult learning principles
  • Strong listening skills, written and oral communication skills, and facilitation skills required
