The IT Developer role is centered on data-focused development projects within an Enterprise Data Solutions environment. You'll be responsible for ingesting and transforming data from a wide variety of sources using modern tools and platforms, primarily on an on-premises infrastructure.
What are the responsibilities?
As an IT Developer, you will:
- Develop ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL, and C# within Visual Studio.
- Maintain and troubleshoot metadata-driven ETL processes.
- Work with Azure DevOps and Git for version control and collaboration.
- Ingest and process multiple file types and source systems including CSVs, fixed-width files, Oracle, and Kafka.
- Operate within a historical data warehouse environment, utilizing Change Data Capture strategies.
What are the requirements?
- 8+ years of experience in data-centric development
- Proficiency in SQL Server (2019), SSIS, and complex SQL scripting
- Experience with Visual Studio and C# for maintaining and debugging code
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows
- Comfortable working with diverse data sources
- Kafka experience preferred
