What is the position?
The HRIS Applications Specialist will perform duties and responsibilities related to the human resources information systems (HRIS) and serve as the Learning Management System administrator.

What will you do?
As an HRIS Applications Specialist, you will:

• Provide functional/technical support for the company’s HRIS system.
• Define technical solution alternatives to address issues raised throughout the service request lifecycle.
• Monitor incoming service requests and incidents and identify the resolution to the incident.
• Monitor service request backlogs and keep open items updated with current efforts.
• Consult with different internal teams to research and recommend system solutions/improvements to the learning processes.
• Maintain process documentation.
• Coordinate system upgrades and user acceptance testing for new functionality.
• Identify improvement changes to resolve errors and prevent the recurrence of problems.
• Mentor less experienced team members and assist them with handling major incidents.

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related
• UKG experience - either pro or dimensions
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise HR management systems (Kronos, Taleo, Workday, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and Oracle databases
• 2+ years of experience with application development/programming
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts
• Knowledge of Sarbanes and Oxley IT Change management controls
• Ability to follow change management processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
