You'll play a vital part in evaluating credit risk, issuing financial instruments, and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
What are the responsibilities?
As a Gas Marketing Credit Analyst, you will:
- Assess and recommend credit terms for counterparties in alignment with company policies
- Manage issuance of letters of credit and guarantees
- Collaborate with internal departments and external contacts to ensure smooth credit operations
- Set and monitor credit limits, resolving complex credit issues as needed
- Generate regular reports outlining credit activities and exposure
- Mentor junior team members and support departmental projects
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role (5+ years preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong PC skills
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Oil and gas industry experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset
