Job Description
What is the position:
The GIS Analyst will utilize the company's Geographic Information System and tool-set to perform various loading, operational, and monitoring activities on several large-scale GIS projects.

The GIS Analyst will utilize the company's Geographic Information System and tool-set to perform various loading, operational, and monitoring activities on several large-scale GIS projects.
What will you do:
- Perform file maintenance on GIS databases
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and implementation tasks
- Perform database queries
- Perform spatial analysis.
- Perform research to gain the information needed to update and/or revise the GIS databases
- Maintain or modify existing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases.
- Manage projects across departments, coordinating resources for project delivery.
- Communicate with various stakeholders, management, and other team members on project plans.
What are the requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
- 1-2 years of GIS or related experience preferred
- Proficiency in ArcGIS/ArcView and Google Earth.
- Knowledge of third party software used with CAD and GIS to manage electronic survey data
- O&G industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GIS software processes and geodatabase maintenance.
- Ability to learn new software and GIS systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, workflows, and process/procedures.
