Job Description
What is the position?
The Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) Engineer will be responsible for developing project scopes and cost estimates to support a wide range of infrastructure initiatives. This role plays a key part in defining technical requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful planning and budgeting of meter station and interconnect projects, from small-scale to mega-scale efforts.

What are the responsibilities?
As a FEED Engineer, you will:
- Develop cost estimates and project scopes for tactical, major, and mega expansion projects
- Collaborate with commercial, planning, engineering, and regulatory teams to define project facilities
- Create and deliver preliminary scope documents, schematics, and capacity studies
- Gather vendor and contractor data to support accurate budgeting
- Engage with external stakeholders to align on project needs and financial viability
- Prepare and present technical materials to facilitate internal approvals
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in cost estimating or related engineering work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Knowledge of safety, operational, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage mid-sized engineering assignments
- You can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently
- You are left-brained and understand that the devil’s in the details, proactively seeking them out and understanding how they contribute to the whole of a project
