Job Description

What is this position?
The Estimator will analyze requirement data and other metrics to deliver accurate and timely cost/ material estimates for a manufacturing company. 

What will you do?
As a Drafter, you will:
  • Gather data and other information on materials, costs, and production details.
  • Identify project components that affect production materials and costs.
  • Evaluate production data to ensure accuracy.
  • Look over project requirements, plans, and drawings to provide insight on analyses.
  • Deliver and present cost, labor, and material estimates to management and other stakeholders for review and decision-making.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

What are the requirements?
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years estimating experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Data analysis, statistics, and mathematics skills
  • Ability to use analytic tools and interpret technical documents to analyze requirement data
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
