What are the responsibilities?
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Lead and support mid-sized engineering projects with minimal supervision.
- Improve the reliability and performance of electrical infrastructure and voltage systems.
- Develop and oversee condition-based maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
- Coordinate contractors and assist with planned equipment outages and maintenance activities.
- Review electrical drawings, work plans, and management of change documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct and implement improvements from arc flash studies.
- Partner with internal teams to promote safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements.
- Present technical information and recommendations to stakeholders as needed.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 4+ years of engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to workplace safety
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required
- FE Certification, PE Certification, and/or project management experience preferred
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry best practices preferred
