The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the quality of Document Control services and products and ensuring compliance with E&C projects.
What will you do?
As a Document Control Specialist, you will:
- Execute document control processes across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with project procedures and company standards.
- Manage the generation and completion of turnover packages at project close-out.
- Maintain accurate documentation within Oracle Aconex, ensuring data integrity and version control.
- Communicate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and support documentation needs.
- Audit vendor submittals and document management activities to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Train team members and external partners on document control procedures and Aconex usage.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve document management efficiency.
What are the requirements?
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate Degree preferred)
- 4+ years of document control experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, (preferably with an owner/operator or EPC organization)
- Oracle Aconex experience required
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Familiarity with engineering documentation and regulated environments (PHMSA, FERC, DOT, BESE, PSM).
- Quality or Lean Management certification (ISO-9001, Six Sigma, PMP) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
