Job Description

What is the position?
The Design Coordinator supports cross-functional teams by coordinating workflows, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and helping resolve project obstacles in a fast-paced environment.

What are the responsibilities?
As a Design Coordinator, you will:
  • Coordinate multiple design and drafting projects while ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource planning using project management tools
  • Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide updates and maintain alignment on deliverables
  • Identify potential project risks or bottlenecks and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward
  • Support the consistency and accuracy of design documentation and workflow processes
  • Encourage collaboration across teams while helping maintain a productive work environment

What are the requirements?
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, design, or a related discipline preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, ideally within a design, drafting, or creative services setting
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and Power Apps
  • Familiarity with design-related software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Visio
  • Strong understanding of project coordination processes and workflow management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to solve problems proactively
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with team members
