The Databricks Engineer will utilize Azure Databricks and Apache Spark to design, implement, and integrate data ingestion pipelines.
What will you do?
As a Databricks Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources.
- Utilize data management principles to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability throughout the pipeline.
- Transfer data from sources to data repositories through the integration of end-to-end data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and enhance system performance.
- Contribute to ETL and data warehouse transformation processes.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field
- Experience using Azure/Databricks and/or Apache Spark
- Experience with SQL or SQL-related query languages
- Understanding of data management principles
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse transformation processes
- Experience designing data pipelines using Databricks
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
