What is the position?
The Commercial Operations Director will be responsible to oversee the quality control, product operations and delivery, and inventory management for the transportation sector of an oil & gas company.

What will you do?
As a Commercial Operations Director, you will:

• Create and outline standards to be met in order to execute longterm objectives. 

• Oversee activities of product inventory and quality control, ensuring compliance with transportation service policies and procedures.

• Develop teams and employees through training, motivation, compensation, and counseling. The director may supervise management of other locations to optimize commercial opportunities.

• Enhance relationships with customers, providers, and other partners through effective communication, resolving issues, and analyzing opportunities for future growth. 

• Collaborate across departments to strengthen internal relationships and acquire new opportunities through strategy development. 

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.

• Oversight or leadership experience required.

• 8+ years of experience in commercial or business development and pipeline operations preferred.

• Ability to work in-person by both scheduling and callouts on job sites. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
