What is the position?

The Client Relationship Manager provides comprehensive service and operational support to financial advisors and their clients. This position acts as a central liaison among clients, advisors, custodians, and internal teams while helping ensure account activity, documentation, and client needs are managed accurately and efficiently.

What are the responsibilities?

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will:

• Manage client inquiries, service needs, documentation requests, and appointment coordination.
• Develop trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients while delivering responsive, professional service.
• Support financial advisors by organizing meetings, preparing materials, monitoring action items, and handling ongoing administrative needs.
• Facilitate new account setup and client onboarding, including collecting information and ensuring required documentation is completed.
• Process and track account activity such as transfers, rollovers, deposits, distributions, and beneficiary changes.
• Partner with custodians, financial institutions, operations, and compliance teams to address account issues and complete client requests.
• Maintain detailed CRM records of client communications, meetings, pending paperwork, and follow-up activities.
• Safeguard confidential client information and recognize situations that should be referred to the financial advisor.

• 5-10+ years of experience in client service, wealth management, financial services, banking, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished, client-focused approach.
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities, client requests, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms is preferred.
• Experience working with financial custodians such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing is beneficial.
