What is the position?
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for accounting processes/tasks and financial reporting. This role will ensure that all work is performed timely and accurately as well as in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for accounting processes/tasks and financial reporting. This role will ensure that all work is performed timely and accurately as well as in compliance with regulatory requirements.
What will you do?
As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will:
- Oversee AP financial system and support AP staff.
- Supervise the general ledger team.
- Ensure procedures are maintained and staff are trained.
- Provide guidance to staff on handling non-routine reporting transactions.
- Oversee financial reporting tasks.
- Lead efforts in areas including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Employee Expenses, General Ledger, Capital Assets, and Purchasing Cards.
- Support the Controller with daily banking needs and year-end audit.
- Ensure the accurate and prompt pay transaction processing and closings completion.
- Assist in forecasting and budget preparation activities.
- Collaborate with other managers to meet objectives.
- Assist in preparing the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
- Ensure proper application of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GAAP) rules.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 4+ years of Accounting leadership experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles, specifically governmental accounting and cost/variance analysis
- Understanding of investment procedures and accounting control systems
- Monitoring and budget preparation knowledge
- Ability to review and analyze fiscal & accounting records
- Efficient analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to manage relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
