What is the position?
The Accounting Manager will will be responsible for managing AP and AR processes and financial reporting activities. The Manager will report directly to upper management and have direct interaction with the executive team.

What will you do?
As an Accounting Manager, you will:

• Manage payroll, A/R, A/P, General ledger, and financial statement maintenance, preparation, and administration.
• Drive accurate financial reporting through the establishment of departmental controls and procedures
• Oversee General Ledger entries, adjustments to the books, and  the balance sheet.
• Collaborate with managers across different departments, not just the executive team.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable managers, ensuring smooth operations, timely payments, and efficient end-of-month processes.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with the company’s CPA to manage financial tasks.
• Report directly to the executive team.
• Learn and adapt to the ERP system with a focus on GAAP compliance.

What are the requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• General Ledger experience required
• Manufacturing experience
• Financial reporting experience
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experience with accounting software and ability to use it to its fullest extent
• Excellent organizational skills
• A drive to continue learning, specifically about the software and technology industries
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Responsible individual with a strong work ethic and analytical mind to play a key administrative role
• Strong ability to work independently with little to no supervision
