The role of the Accounting Clerk is to manage data entry and process transactions related to real estate assets and loans. This role involves maintaining accuracy across multiple accounting systems and assisting in special projects to ensure smooth operations in real estate management.
What are the responsibilities?
As an Accounting Clerk, you will:
- Input and manage data for real estate asset and loan transactions.
- Manage entries through Regis, ACH or PayPlus, or similar systems.
- Process and review invoices, revenue checks, and loan payments.
- Verify data accuracy and completeness, balancing reports from PetroData system.
- Assist with special projects and annual audits related to real estate holdings.
What are the requirements?
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in data entry or accounting preferred
- Knowledge of FIS and PetroData system preferred
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Proficient in data entry & 10-key operation
- Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general PC applications
- Basic understanding of real estate terminology and operations
