What is the position?
The role of the Accounting Clerk is to provide accounting support to mineral management by conducting research and generating reports on asset discrepancies, managing accounts payable invoices, and collaborating with asset managers to handle tax payments. You will work across platforms and databases, communicate with operators and purchasers, and create custom reports to monitor asset performance.

What are the responsibilities?
As an Accounting Clerk, you will:
- Use TMMS, audit tracking, and MS Excel to prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Process and track all AP invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
- Utilize SharePoint, TMMS, and FIS to coordinate invoices and ad valorem tax payments.
- Collaborate with asset managers and other employees to analyze discrepancies, report inconsistencies, and propose solutions.
- Work with asset managers to conduct escheated funds research.
- Assist business line manager with compliance and audit reports.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years experience in Oil & Gas
- PC & MS Office skills
- Mathematics skills
- Understanding of legal entities, land descriptions, mineral royalties, mineral lease characteristics, well production units, and conservation commission regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
