What is this position?
The Reinforcing Steel Detailer will be responsible for detailing large-scale projects for a steel / rebar fabrication company. This position demands accuracy in projects, thorough knowledge of various construction specifications, working within a dynamic environment, and attention to detail. 
 
What will you do?
As a Reinforcing Steel Detailer, you will:
  • Follow CRSI/ACI industry standards for wiremesh, reinforcing steel, and accessories.
  • Develop detailed reinforcing steel shop drawings as necessary. 
  • Carry out tasks related to project management such as change order preparation and project coordination. 
  • Uphold strict adherence to company's standards and safety protocols, aligning practices with the mission and values.
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as required. 
 
What are the requirements?
  • High School Diploma is needed; some college is preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in detailing reinforcing steel. 
  • Candidates are expected to showcase detailing expertise through a portfolio of jobs before being considered for this role.
  • Extensive knowledge of aSa Rebar Software System/ equivalent system utilization. 
  • Demonstrate the capability to estimate large-scale projects exceeding 500 Tons accurately.
