Job Description

What is the position:

The Recruiter will be responsible for seeking out and screening applicants for current and future job openings. 

What will you be doing:

  • Create strategies designed to identify qualified candidates 
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of candidates through screenings 
  • Negotiate wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates 
  • Oversee pre-employment steps including reference checks and background/drug tests 
  • Gain feedback from clients on their needs and assist them in developing relevant job descriptions 
  • Develop and maintain strong client relations 
  • Manage current contract employees 
  • Communicate effectively with team members to create a productive environment 
  • Maintain relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge and get referrals 
  • See your efforts directly contribute to the success of the entire company. 

What are the requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 required
  • Experience in a business environment through a job or internship is a must
  • Experience in a leadership role (through academics, sports, organizations, or professional)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Eager to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
