Job Description

What is the position?
The Piping Designer will be responsible for drafting and applying redlines to field drawings, serving as a liaison between design and field teams.

What will you do?
As a Piping Designer, you will:
  • Read and interpret documents such as drawings and project specifications.
  • Maintain communication between field and design team.
  • Receive and review drawings with field teams.
  • Create, revise and maintain drawings with field teams using CAD.
  • Provide operations with completed files for review.
  • Deliver project information and answer inquiries for internal leads. 
  • Serve as drafting and design representative for asset divisions.
  • Communicate with and support various stakeholders, attending meetings as required.

What are the requirements?
  • 5+ years of CAD experience and proficiency in CADWorx.
  • Operations or field facility walkdown experience.
  • Knowledge of P&IDs.
  • Previous experience in the energy industry is preferred.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
